I’ve always believed that an image speaks louder than a thousand words.

A story told through words lets you imagine the scene — but a photograph lets you feel it. It lets you step inside the moment, see the emotion, and connect to something real. That’s what I aim for every time I pick up my camera: connection.

I’m Tavaris, a fashion, editorial, and branding photographer based in Houston. My work moves between bold creativity and intentional storytelling — whether I’m shooting with brands, designers, or models, or capturing something meaningful for an everyday client. I don’t box myself into a single “style”; I adapt. Some projects demand structure, others call for instinct — but every shot reflects my eye, my energy, and the story behind it.

Fashion, culture, and photography all share the same pulse: they connect us. My goal is to show how those worlds overlap — how fashion speaks across cultures, how art brings people together, and how one image can express what words can’t.

I’ve had the chance to collaborate with talented designers and brands and photograph runway shows, but what drives me most is the next story waiting to be told — the next image that pulls someone in and makes them feel something real.
